To enter “Upper Canada One Loft Race” you must be 19 years old or older.
To maintain eligibility, in “Upper Canada One Loft Race” all birds MUST be activated and all fees paid on or before the due date.
A completed IRS (W-9 Form) will be required prior to awarding any prizes valued at $600.00 or more. Such awards will reported as required by IRS regulations in USA.
If no birds are home on the 1st day of the final race, the final race will remain open for 2 additional days and if no bird is home by the end of the 3rd day, all prize monies will be refunded minus 15% for race day expenses.
10% of race fees will be withheld by “Upper Canada One Loft Race” for race expenses.
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” reserves the right to make any and all decisions , and all decisions are final.
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” reserves the right to settle any any and all disputes that may arise and the decision of “Upper Canada One Loft Race” will be final.
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” reserves the right to refuse entry(ies) to ( and to prohibit any individual, or group of individuals or company from participation in “Upper Canada One Loft Race” ) any breeder or attendee to the “Upper Canada One Loft Race” at their discretion.
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” reserves the right to refuse entry to our physical location to any person seeking to attend any of the preliminary or final races at our discretion.
Race dates are understood to be subject to the weather conditions at the time and “Upper Canada One Loft Race” reserves the right to change dates as required.
*FIRST DROP ON THE FINAL RACE ONLY! Arrival of the first pigeons together will be considered a drop and paid equally – (if 3 pigeons arrive together – the top 3 prizes will be added together and split evenly among the first 3 pigeons). If one pigeon does not trap that arrived with the first pigeons this pigeon will be considered on the drop until another pigeon arrives. All other prizes will be paid by clocking order.
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” reserves the right to at their sole discretion to make all decisions as regards the care, training & management of birds entered
Any birds entered into “Upper Canada One Loft Race” will be considered the property of the person entering the birds into the race.
”Upper Canada One Loft Race” will not become involved in any way with any alleged ownership disputes, said disputes must be resolved between those entering the birds and the alleged rightful owners.
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” is not responsible in any way for settling alleged ownership issues, birds will be returned to the official entrant..
“Upper Canada One Loft Race” will only make prize payment directly to and only in the name of the official entrant to “Upper Canada One Loft Race” and no exceptions will be made to this rule.
Any unforeseen circumstances will be settled by Upper Canada One Loft Race —–“Acts of God”, which are defined as major events beyond human control, such as virulent disease outbreaks, natural disasters ( including hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, flooding etc.) , governmental actions, acts of terror or war, or other catastrophic events, that by their nature, make it impossible for the race to proceed as planned– in these unavoidable cases the birds will be shipped back ( if permissible by law) to breeders at breeders expense along with paid entry fees.
All birds will be available to be returned to their official entrants after the conclusion of “Upper Canada One Loft Race” series. Official entrants will be required to pay the shipping expenses. If an entrant does not want their birds returned other arrangements will be made by “Upper Canada One Loft Race” at their sole discretion. Pick up at our location or shipping confirmation and instructions must be made within two weeks of “Upper Canada One Loft Race” posting the request.
